The final injection molded parts are very close to our cad models with a few exceptions. The checkerboard had one side that had a little bit of overshoot, and was susceptible to deforming after coming out of the mold. perhaps adding some ribs on the underside would help it keep its shape, and more draft would ensure that no force is necessary to remove the part. Each board piece fit snuggly to the next, but when putting the 4 together they were too snuggly fitting to allow much leeway in twisting the parts together.
The Checkers turned out very well, snuggly fitting one-atop-the-other. The numbers are somewhat shallow and difficult to read, so clearer identification may be needed in future designs.
